Moro Wraps Up medical Outreach in Benue South

 The Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Patrick Abba Moro (PhD) has concluded the two day medical outreach he undertook in parts of the senatorial district.

 The process started in Agatu and ended in Okpokwu Local Government Areas of the state. The press statement signed by the Senator's Media Adviser said, the exercise involved carrying free medical consultations, general medical screening and supplies which witnessed mass turnout of residents affected by various ailments at the designated locations. 

The Distinguished Senator personally monitored the exercise at Akpali, in Okpokwu where he said, the outreach was part of his unrelenting efforts to improve rendition of medical services in Zone C. The Senator reaffirmed belief in the saying 'Health is wealth' and restated commitment to improving health and general wellbeing of his constituents.

To confirm commitment, Moro disclosed that eight primary healthcare centres (PHCs) have been built by him across the senatorial district and that he has bought and distributed medical equipment including medicines worth millions of naira amongst other interventions for communities in the Benue South Senatorial District.

He said the healthcare centres yet to function would soon be equipped for smooth operations. On the other hand he lamented the neglect of the health sector and other critical areas of services in the Zone by governments and assured that he would continue to work tirelessly to bridge the gap in the manner desirable as the dividends of democracy for his constituents.

 He remarked "I will never to leave you alone." The medical outreach has been an annual exercise benefitting countless number of the constituents and the program started years ago.
