Communities Hail Francisca Ordega For Water Projects
Two communities in Mbatiav, Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State are in frenzy over water projects executed by their daughter, the iconic international footballer, Francisca Ordega. The projects are expected to end scarcity of the natural product in the communities.
Water regarded by the super footballer as "life for creation" and "necessarily to meet the domestic needs" occupied Ordega's mind and she made available to enable people of the communities to improve personal and group hygiene.
While water remains one of the most top priorities for the donor to her immediate and extended communities, the Mbaaye and Ikpenger people rejoiced the gift and thanked Francisco Ordega who led the dignitaries to her hometown, Tse Mue to commission the life enjoying projects, Monday, July 6th, 2026.
The communities showed appreciations for Ordega's gesture, particularly that it would end their search for the portable water that became a yearly experience!
The community leaders, Zaki Ankele and Elder Tyoanhyev Adzenda showed gratitude for the projects and expressed hope that the water projects would end shortage of supply in the communities.
They praised and prayed God to bless her with longer life, including increased resources to better lives of her people in the place of her birth.
Pa Joseph Ordega Ankele expressed delight specifically about his daughter's worthy thoughts for the wellbeing of humanity.
According to him, the gesture was a dream come true for his daughter who desired to give her best back to the society.
Francisca Ordega plays in the forward position for the Saudi Women's Premier League club Al-Ittihad. Media coordinator for the top player's Francisca Ordega Foundation (FOF) Vancouver Ter Alam briefed journalists that the projects were personal effort of the player to end challenges of water in the communities.
