Former FMBN MD Now Benue Chief of Staff

In the bid to reposition his administration and fast track development for Benue State, Governor Hyacinth Alia has dissolved the State Executive Council to bring on board new set of technocrats that would reinvigorate the weakening resolve for more performance.
 Governor Alia's Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula disclosed in the statement that the Governor announced the dissolution at the "close of the 12th (2025) meeting of the Benue State Executive Council."
The statement added "the Governor appoints the former two term Attorney General of the State and Commissioner of Justice, Barrister Moses Atagher as new Chief of Staff." The appointment takes effect immediately and avails the seasoned administrator who "is also the former acting Managing Director, Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria" another opportunity to contribute for development of his fatherland.
The statement disclosed further that apart from the Commissioners and the Chief of Staff affected by the dissolution, appointments by Governor Alia into other offices remain unaffected. 
According to the Chief Press Secretary, the Governor appreciated the former Commissioners for their contributions to his administration which spans two years and said those who may not be recalled should remain in the All Progressives Congress (APC) to continue liaising with the system. The release noted also that exit of the Commissioners only paved way for other citizens who may be chosen to contribute for the development of the state.
Immediate past Commissioner for Justice and Public Order, Barrister Bemsen Mnyim appreciated Governor Alia on behalf of his colleagues and noted that their inclusion into the administration gave the opportunity to serve the state. The press statement quoted Mnyim to have said "...at every stage in life, everywhere you are called to serve is a school. We have learnt a lot while working with you." 
The Commissioners have been directed to hand over to the Permanent Secretaries of their respective Ministries as soon as possible.
